KunstlerCast: Reinvesting in Rail

James Howard Kunstler often says that America has a train system that the Bulgarians would be ashamed of. But that fact that we're not talking about fixing the passenger rail system shows that the U.S. is a nation of clowns. Kunstler says no other project would have a greater and more immediate effect on our gas consumption than fixing our trains. No new technology would be required. It would create jobs and it would benefit all ranks of society.
